Can you tell us why Video Poker is your favourite casino game?
I enjoy the mixture of poker with a bit of the feel of a slot machine; it is less intense than poker and just as enjoyable. There is a large range of games available as well each with their own benefits. One of the best things is that the odds are much more in your favour than in traditional poker. You’re only playing against the machine and don’t have to worry about any other player’s cards, tactics or poker faces. I love the added features you find in video poker games, such as wild cards which really make building a winnings hand much easier as there are far more of them than in traditional poker. Another great advantage of video poker are the progressive jackpots sometimes they get really huge, you’re not playing against anyone else, but you still have the opportunity to win all their money!
Why is your preferred casino for playing Video Poker?
When it comes to video poker you can often find very similar games available at many casinos. Because of that when I was researching casinos to play at I really took note of all the other factors. To begin with is ‘VeriSign’ secured which shows a clear commitment to security and looking after your privacy. After that I checked their deposit and withdrawal methods are there are loads available which is great as they all have their own advantages and disadvantages. But all of them are trustworthy, fairly fast and most importantly there are loads of deposit bonuses! software is also great quality. The interface is really clear and easily to navigate and it all runs very fast and smoothly. They have nice graphics which really add to the atmosphere of the games and the game layouts themselves are also very intuitive.
Describe your most memorable experience playing Video Poker:
It was an evening when I played a number of rounds of 10’s or Better about a year ago now. I didn’t win a huge amount in any one round, maybe ten or twenty quid. But I was consistently winning; of course I lost the odd round but over all I was making money. I think I spent about four or five hours playing that night and even though I’d only started with £150 by the time I left the computer at the end of the night I’d won over ten times that, around £1600! I’ll never forget that run of good luck, I’m hoping it’ll happen again someday soon.
